As Managing Director of Rural Insurance, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Dean Robertson (Head of Sales and Marketing) and Mike Ellis (Chief Operations Officer).
Mike Ellis has 20 years of underwriting and insurance broking experience, including Underwriting Manager Positions at AXA and UK General before moving to Rural. Mike will oversee widening our underwriting footprint over the next coming months as we launch new products and work with selected brokers to implement Schemes and Delegated Authority business.
Dean Robertson joins Rural from Santander Group, where he was regional sales manager. Deans appointment to the business strengthens our sales and marketing; he brings with him an outstanding sales track record. From the 31st of July Dean will be looking after all brokers within Scotland, taking over from Stuart Payne.
Over the next coming months we will be making a few changes to our sales team. The recent departure of Gareth Rushton from the business brings a change to the regional focus of our Regional Development Managers. If your brokerage is based within the North West of England, going forward you will be supported by Regional Development Manager, Mark Feathers. Mark will shortly be in touch with all brokers he is supporting across both the North West and North East of England.
