Rural has signed a new capacity agreement with QBE, covering our core product range including Farm Combined, Farm Motor, Rural Business Motor, Equine and Livestock. However, it is only the capacity provider that is changing, the covers themselves will remain the same.
This comes as part of a wider deal for the UK General Insurance Group, of which Rural is a part, that sees QBE appointed sole carrier for UK General’s commercial insurance programme.
When does it start?
The expected date of the change is scheduled towards the end of December. We will be writing to all trading partners with exact details closer to the date.
What will change?
Only our capacity provider is changing. No changes will be made to our covers and the service levels will remain unchanged – and our brokers don’t need to do anything.
